About Zac Sandy
I'm currently coming to the end of my PhD in cellular and molecular biology in Dr Christine Schmidt's lab at the University of Manchester. I'll soon be looking for a future position continuing my career in biological research. I have extensive experience in cellular assays, protein purification and immunoprecipitation but am also familiar with a broad range of cellular and biophysical techniques listed in the skills section below. My background is primarily academic but I am also undertaking a 3-month industrial placement at AstraZeneca as part of my BBSRC iCASE studentship and have been in constant communication with my industrial co-supervisor Dr Josep Forment throughout my PhD.
