About Zach George
Having grown up in a small town where everyone has the,"I can fix that" mindset it was clear when entering college that I knew I wanted to be an engineer. Engineering is only one side of a proverbial coin though. Many things can be designed by theory and calculations but cannot yet be physically produced. I wanted to know more about the manufacturing side of industry so I enrolled in a dual degree for Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies. This was a heavy task and something that required great management skills, but I was confident that I could do it. In the spring of 2020 I not only graduated from ONU with both of my degrees I managed to also achieve a minor in Applied Mathematics and be the President of the Black Rose rugby club my senior year. I am currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer Detailer at Grob Systems in Bluffton, Ohio.
