About Zach Ledner

When I was 17 years old, I decided I was going to major in Risk Management & Insurance despite not having any ties to the industry.I had my first exposures to insurance through my coursework at Florida State University and through my work as an insurance agent in Maryland during college summers. The early work experience was formative, not just because it helped me build a strong foundation, but because I learned just how much people hate insurance - it motivated me. It motivated me to undertake a mission of reversing the industry's negative stigma by providing an excellent customer experience and by consistently innovating to get people to view insurance as the societal good that it truly is.As Director of Insurance Partnerships at Voxel, I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to do just that. Voxel sits at the intersection of risk management and computer vision. We empower safety teams to be more proactive than ever before by connecting our software to existing security cameras to identify near misses and safety risks in real time. The best part of my job is connecting insurance industry with innovative technology to create simultaneous winning scenarios for insureds, brokers, carriers, and other insurance organizations.
