I manage all buying, shipping & marketing of vehicles for Velocity Auto Sales. I've taken my public relations and sales experience to help Velocity become the #1 independent dealership in Utah. Throughout 2012 I worked as a media relations intern for Real Salt Lake, the Major League Soccer team in Sandy, UT. My work spanned three organizations – Real Salt Lake, ESPN700 and Rio Tinto Stadium. My duties included managing reporters/photographers covering the team and events held at the stadium, creation and editing of Real Salt Lake’s official website and arranging press materials for local and national media outlets. During the fall I headed the public relations efforts for the 2012 XFINITY High School Football Challenge, a event held at Rio Tinto Stadium for two of the nation’s top high school football teams to take on Utah’s Jordan H.S. and Alta H.S. Local and national media outlets covered the event; college scouts from the WAC, PAC 12 and MWC followed or attended the event and local and national coverage saw a substantial boost from 2011’s event. During my studies at BYU, I performed public relations services for the Bradley Public Relations Agency, Provo Channel 17, Daily Universe and the Academy for Creating Enterprise. My duties ranged from writing press releases & news stories, creating press packets to full scale communication and marketing campaigns. In addition to my public relations studies and future career, I am the founder and director of a soccer school called Elevation Goalkeeper Academy. I train soccer players in Utah and sell soccer gear throughout the nation. My academy is sponsored by Uhlsport and I am an authorized retailer for Uhlsport, Sells, Rinat, Calle Street Soccer, Bownet and Real Salt Lake. The purpose of Elevation Goalkeeper Academy is to provide year round training opportunities to goalkeepers of all levels in an effort to create an optimal environment which fosters individual development.
