About Zachary Eichner

Zachary Eichner is a recent graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Executive Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and Business Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology. He has a strong foundation in corporate and transactional practice, with academic experience in international business transactions, general counsel advising, and startup development. Zachary is a recipient of the Kearse Writing Award from the Rochester Institute of Technology for outstanding analytical writing and was honored with the Pro Bono Champion Award from the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Central New York for his dedication to public service. Zachary’s work with the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) has been a cornerstone of his legal training. As an Access to Justice Fellow, he contributed to both the Immigration and LGBTQ+ Rights programs—supporting complex asylum and family-based immigration cases and helping organize and operate name change clinics throughout Upstate New York. He also played a key role in training law student volunteers, preparing legal materials, and supporting both in-person and remote clinic operations to ensure high-quality service delivery. His approach to the law is shaped by both lived experience and a strong belief in the role attorneys can play in building more inclusive systems. In his free time, he enjoys visiting new places, crafting the perfect playlist, and occasionally doing absolutely nothing at all.
