Previously, I was working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Harry Norman. I collaborated with both agents and brokers to identify and document business requirements for data-driven solutions. On a daily basis I conducted data analysis, develop insights, and made recommendations to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency within Harry Norman. I developed and maintained data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate key performance indicators and other metrics to multiple teams. Not only do I work on analyzing data, but I also have experience in writing both commercial and residential contracts that meet state/federal laws. I recently got the opportunity to work on a three month contract overseas in Japan as a Business Intelligence analyst. During this contract I gained experience working with sales data for raw materials. I worked with a team of analysts and engineers in multiple countries to make data driven decisions to increase the productivity for the company. My responsibility for this job was to be a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and other functional teams to ensure data requirements were aligned with business objectives. I also conducted data modeling and data integration activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data for analysis purposes. The skills used in this job included SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, and Microsoft products. In a previous role as a GIS analyst with the US Forestry Service, I gained a comprehensive understanding of data analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques. I have experience in data cleaning, data transformation, data visualization, and statistical analysis. In this job I would use ArcGIS mapping to examine areas that had been recently burned in a wildfire. I would test these burned areas with different amounts of rainfall to see what the chances were for a mudslide to occur. The data analysis skills used in the job included Rstudio, ArcGIS, SQL, and Microsoft products.
