About Zack Rogers

I'm extremely passionate about my field of study, economics, an interest I discovered mid-way through my enrollment at Statesboro High School. My main interests and are effects of government regulation on markets and the introduction of free-market reforms to alleviate economic strife, and allowing non-coercive, individual action to solve issues with minimal government intervention. My interests in economic and social freedom led me to become the Event Coordinator at the Georgia Southern University chapter of Young Americans for Liberty, a position I very much enjoyed. Also while at Georgia Southern I joined and became treasurer of Enactus at Southern, a high performing social entrepreneurship group where we won a regional championship in 2016, our first year attending such a competition. In May 2015 I began working as an intern for the loan department of CORE Credit Union in Statesboro, GA, where I worked throughout my final year of college. While at CORE I primarily worked as an internal auditor of all approved and disbursed consumer loans, but also had plenty of other diverse jobs within the credit union. In September 2016 I accepted a full-time position at CORE as a loan processor. CORE is the best of the best, and I'm extremely proud to work there. I consider myself an extremely driven individual, especially when doing something I love. I can't wait to continue into the field of economics and finance, and am very excited to see where my decision to study economics will take me.
