About Zack Whaley

In today’s society of hyper-competitive markets how can a company strive to retain its customers when they’re only a click away from taking their business elsewhere? There will always be someone willing to sell a similar product for cheaper, so how does one build value in a way that not only satisfies existing customers, but drives growth? The answer is customer service. Merely satisfactory customer service is easy to provide and expected in any professional interaction. However, truly spectacular customer service is exceedingly rare and can be an extremely powerful value proposition. It can be the difference between “adequate” and “exemplary.” My years of experience in various customer-facing roles have allowed me to hone my ability to not only listen to and acknowledge a customer’s plight, but to empathize with and understand them. Working in retail has taught me nearly impenetrable patience, while also shown me how to time-manage effectively and make decisions in the best interest of a team larger than myself. I have developed a sincere passion for teaching, helping, and problem solving alongside someone. I thrive as a leader and have achieved ongoing success with my teams by developing employees with autonomy, continually pushing them to their personal best, and giving them purpose in driving results as a group.
