About Zain Ali

I possess work experience in many roles and fields. From a shawarma restaurant to a coffee plant to an airport. I have experience as a paint specialist at Rona. In the past I have also done forklift work at Rona, as well as receiving. At mother Parkers Tea and coffee plant, I have worked many various roles on the production floor such as line worker, coffee handler, forklifting, and production line support. In my current role as a stanchion agent at Pearson airport, I setup airline ques and overflows to contain and manage large and overflowing crowds of passengers. I have carried out many projects all over the airport alongside the GTAA(Greater Toronto Airports Authority) I have experience in interacting with and carrying out projects for airlines, customs officers/superintendents and GTAA. I have been in many pressure situations such as an airline crowd overflowing and blocking passage way of surrounding area. Adjusting airline queing setups and stanchions while the check-in lineups are full whilst managing the crowd and ensuring everyone keeps their position and order in the lineup. My responsibilities also include carrying out and helping with airport day to day operations. As much passion as I put into my work, I try to ensure I put alot more into my customer service skills. As I do alot of customer service on a daily basis, I have learned alot about the airport itself. On a daily basis I assist passengers with questions regarding travelling,eating, airport services, locations, and many more. At the moment I am looking for a supervisor/manager role. I feel I am ready for the role because I have learned alot from my work experiences and through overcoming obstacles in life itself. I am as a worker the same way I am as a person, always smiling, down to earth, courteous, and very passionate.
