About Zak Daughtry

As a lifelong native Floridian, I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. I like to think of myself as eclectic and diverse as my heritage suggests. My mother’s side of the family are from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and my father’s family are what we in the South call “traditional southerners.” I have fond memories of working in the fields of my grandparent’s blueberry farm as a child during the Summers. I further established roots in Central Florida during my time at the University of Central Florida where I went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. During my time as a student I worked for Honest Tea both as an intern and as a part of their field marketing team. In this role I loved getting to work face to face with people and got the opportunity to travel all across the Southeastern United States. I’m also proud to say that I founded UCF’s collegiate paintball team. Not only was our team brand new but in our first year of competing in the NCPA (National Collegiate Paintball Association) we won first place and became national champions! Aside from paintball, I am also a fervent automotive enthusiast, computer nerd, and amateur carpenter.Early on in my real estate career, I worked with nationally renowned Cody Sperber of the Clever Investor which specializes in educating others on creating their own real estate investing business. After helping others build their own successful business, I went on to begin my own real estate career.
