I serve as Senior Director of Public Affairs for the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association, where I lead advocacy, strategy, and communications for one of the state’s most visible and impactful industries.My work centers on building strong connections between government and the hospitality and tourism sector — ensuring policymakers understand on-the-ground realities and that our members’ voices shape the decisions that affect their businesses.With a background spanning state and local government, public relations, and nonprofit advocacy, I’ve led regional and statewide campaigns, testified before legislative committees, and represented our industry in high-stakes media moments. I pride myself on being strategic, approachable, and clear under pressure, tackling every challenge with focus and energy.Previously, I served in the Pennsylvania Senate as a legislative aide and communications director for parts of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. That experience gave me a deep understanding of local government and the legislative process — as well as how easily public voices can be lost in policy debates.Communication has been my foundation from the start — from winning the Pennsylvania state championship in Lincoln-Douglas debate, to serving as senior editor at The Michigan Daily, to leading industry-wide advocacy efforts. I believe clarity and precision, not volume, drive meaningful change.
