About Zan Cerne

Filled with passion and love for playing with computers of any kind has led me to different challenges and personal projects. During my student years, I helped a small software company develop a web application for GPS vehicle tracking using technologies like Angular, Node.js and MongoDB. I started my first full-time job as a Junior QA Engineer at Celtra, an American-Slovenian software company where I'm polishing my knowledge on test automation and JavaScript. I have a desire to learn, improve, and contribute. I love solving different problems by writing short Python scripts or developing extensions for different applications. Recently, I've started contributing to open-source projects and learning about web technologies and frameworks like React and Astro, which I used to build my personal website. Currently, I'm working on two extensions: Matter, a Raycast extension for the Matter Reader app and Lowlight, a Craft (notes app) extension for Kindle Highlights, using technologies like React and TailwindCSS. These are just some of my personal projects. As I continue on my journey in the tech industry, I am excited to take on new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. My passion for computers and problem-solving fuels my drive to excel in my career and contribute to the wider tech community.
