About Zane Riddlesperger

I have been in manufacturing since June 2016. During this time I have gained experience in everything from Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9001:2015 to OSHA safety standards and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly. I was first exposed to Lean Manufacturing while at the LU-VE Group in Jacksonville, Texas where I learned about standardization and inventory control. I also had a chance to learn the basics of ISO 9001:2015 while at the LU-VE Group. These quality standards are for general manufacturing processes and also have requirements for internal auditing. I was trained on the internal auditing and reporting process in accordance with the ISO standards. After the LU-VE Group, I worked at Trane Technologies in Tyler, Texas. While at Trane I refined my knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, learning about 7-Ways and Lean Six Sigma. My two main projects at Trane were development of Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and standardization of products and tooling. Writing Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures offered me the opportunity to learn about OSHA safety requirements for machines and assembly lines. My other major project to standardize products and tooling for the Braze Department. I learned important lessons in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly for use on brazed assemblies and machined components.
