About Zane Yinger

I have experience working as a camp counselor, preschool teacher, pastry chef, cashier, social justice advocate, student representative, lab technician, herbarium manager, archery instructor, and tree deliverer! But whatever my position, my life-long mission remains steady: to listen, connect, weave, and heal. I bring people together to share compassion with all. I want to always show up for the land, for my ancestors, for my neighbors, and for my communities. As the wounds between us continue to fester, injustice unfolds across the globe. Violence is the symptom of isolation, and my wish is to heal the hurt of separation for the return of embodiment to our being. I want to feel again. The path to escape from capitalism and colonialism is unknown, because community and healing are foreign knowledge to the hegemony of our culture. But I’m ready to risk imagination for a new shape of living in our endlessly diverse world. Amid all uncertainty, I do know this; everything starts with an open heart
