About Zari Warden

I'm dedicated to showcasing and uplifting voices through authentic storytelling. I also value making content that's accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for diverse communities. In 2014, before I knew what a "content creator" was, I picked up video editing as a hobby. Little did I know that it would be the first steps to my career. In 2023, I began creating video content for nonprofits in Seattle and Tacoma. My previous marketing experiences include promoting food security, higher education, and youth arts access. Currently, I'm a Digital Marketing Assistant at LANGSTON, where I focus on social media management, email newsletter engagement, website maintenance, and content creation. I'm proud that my work celebrates and helps cultivate Black brilliance through Black arts and culture in Seattle's Central District.I also engage with my community through my music. As Zari Alexandria, I write, produce, and perform my original songs across the Greater Seattle area. I use my platform to speak openly about my mental health and against injustices connected to my intersectional identities as a Black, neurodivergent, queer woman. Songwriting energizes my passion for meaningful communications. I treasure translating my skills as a lyricist into my marketing career, such as storytelling techniques and conciseness. I've also utilized my music production skills in other avenues, such as audio editing and radio/podcast hosting. I look forward to advancing in advocacy and community building through communications work and my music. If you'd like to connect, please reach out here or email me at zari.alexandria@gmail.com.
