About Zbigniew Ryzak
Mr. Ryzak has over 30 years of trading experience, split between banking and hedge fund management. In his final role in banking, Mr. Ryzak was head of rates products at BNP Paribas in New York, where his direct responsibilities included overseeing trading and risk management of interest rates derivatives and exotics, US Treasuries and Agencies, local market instruments in all of Americas, RMBS and whole loans, municipal products, inflation products and repo (1996-2007). After BNP Paribas, Mr. Ryzak founded and ran Diamond Notch Asset Management, a New York-based fund with over $400 million under management. The Diamond Notch team traded a range of cash and derivative products in rates, equities and credit. The fund returns ranked in the top decile among fund peers. Since 2017, Mr. Ryzak has worked on developing trading strategies offered by Orin Capital. Mr. Ryzak holds a PhD degree in theoretical particle physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1987). From 1987 through 1991 Mr. Ryzak worked at Northeastern University in Boston Mass, and Harvard University in Cambridge Mass. conducting research in theoretical particle physics.
