About Zee K.

The most important thing for you to know about me, is how passionate I am about community, education and social impact. For the past 15 years, I’ve played a key role in connecting and growing supportive communities with a focus on #accessibility,#websiteOptimization #curriculum development and #education. As a motivated self-learner, I’ve led a wide variety of ambitious projects and programs that have developed my entrepreneurial skill set. I love working with small to medium-sized businesses to scale their growth and improve their marketing and processes. As a maker myself, I am skilled at translating techy 'engineer speak' into information the average person can understand. A few examples of projects I’ve led include-Co-founding the Maker Education Meetup -Organizing an alternative housing advocacy project which involved building a tiny house in a community-focused skill sharing workshop-Leading the Makers Making Change program; a network that pairs maker volunteers with people with disabilities who cannot afford commercially available assistive technology-Developing an extensive chapter leader and volunteer training and program to sustain the Makers Making Change program over time. As a small business owner and community organizer I am familiar and comfortable with managing all aspects of web, design and communications where teams are small and budgets are limited. I am a creative problem solver and think outside of the box to create fun and engaging events and experiences. I am #OpenToWork with small to medium-sized businesses creating educational and web content as well as web optimization projects.
