About Zeki Kadirbeyoglu

As the Principal of ZKLD LIGHT DESIGN STUDIO, I lead an internationally recognized independent lighting design consultancy based in Istanbul, Turkey and Dubai, UAE. I have over 35 years of experience in the field, and I am a Professional Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).My mission is to enhance the architectural space perception and experience through light, offering unique and innovative solutions for various typologies of interior and exterior spaces. I have worked on prestigious projects such as the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet, the Opportunity Pavilion Expo 2020 Dubai, the Belarus Pavilion Expo 2020 Dubai, and the Emaar Square Istanbul. I have also received multiple awards and honors for my work, such as the LUX Award, the LIT Lighting Design Award, and the Darc Awards.I lead a multidisciplinary team of 20 professionals with architecture, engineering, and design backgrounds, who provide a comprehensive range of services, from concept design to detailed application project, tender consultancy, and site control. We also design custom-made luminaires according to the requirements of each project. We operate mainly in Turkey, Kazakhstan, UAE, and other MENASA and CIS countries, and we are always keen to explore new opportunities and challenges in the lighting design industry.We make light work.
