About Zelda Brits

I am a communication specialist at a public relations firm in South Africa. With a solid foundation in education and writing, my expertise spans diverse areas of communication and learning. I earned my BEd Senior and FET degree from North-West University in 2015, majoring in Afrikaans and Geography. I completed a BA Honors in Afrikaans in 2020 through the University of Fort Hare, focusing on the healing power of narrative literature in Afrikaans. In 2022, I obtained a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of the Free State, producing a creative manuscript and a dissertation analyzing motifs and symbols in Susan Coetzer's novels. My debut romance novel, Sy hart se lens, was published in 2016 by LAPA Publishers under my maiden name, Zelda Mans. Additionally, I freelanced as a journalist for Nuusflits and wrote reviews and articles for LitNet. My experience includes creative storytelling, analytical thinking, and public relations, and I thrive as a team player and an innovative thinker.
