About Zeynep Akman

I started learning English alongside Turkish at the age of 2, which, at a young age made me realize how much I was interested in languages. Thanks to this, I made my professional decisions at a very young age and pursued my career accordingly since then. During my time in university as a student, I have taken various highlighted courses such as machine translation, technical translation, legal translation, consecutive interpretation, translation of chL and its adaptation, translation of audiovisual texts, sight interpretation, playwright translation, subtitle translation, poetry translation, literary translation, translation of the advertisement texts, précis translation and digital media translation. I consider myself as someone who is extremely open to self-development; chasing and utilizing every opportunity eagerly. Apart from that, I rely on my ability to solve problems, build positive communications and act proactively thanks to my strong communication skills. Since I have a blatant interest in languages, I also speak Spanish (14+ years), Portuguese and Turkish Sign Language.
