About Zeynep Uras

Professional Experience Zeynep is the Clients and Markets Leader of PwC Turkey and also leads the Financial Services Industry. She has previously lead the audit practice of the PwC Turkey from July 2001 to December 2012. Expertise Starting her career at the PwC’s audit department in 1986, Zeynep worked in the banking department of PwC London in 1996. She has participated in banking, investment funds, energy and holding companies audit and advisory engagements. Zeynep has worked on privatisations and sales in foreign markets for many PwC Turkey clients. She has taken a leadership role in many large-scale advisory engagements for national and foreign banks and their targeted investments in Turkey. Zeynep has developed expertise in international accounting, auditing and reporting techniques. Qualifications & Membership Zeynep became a member of the Expert Accountants Association of Turkey in 1993 and qualified as an Independent Accountant and Financial Adviser in 1994. Zeynep is currently an elected İstanbul delegate of TURMOB. She is a member of the Union of Certified Public Accountants and Sworn-in Certified Public Accountants of Turkey. She is a member of the Banking Working Group of Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association. Education Zeynep is a graduate of the Business Administration Department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Boğaziçi University.
