Dr. Zhe He is a tenured Associate Professor in the School of Information (iSchool) at Florida State University. He is also Informatics Lead and Director of the Biostatistics, Informatics, and Research Design (BIRD) Program of UF-FSU CTSA Hub. His research lies at the intersection of Biomedical Informatics, Information Science, and Computer Science with expertise in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Health Data Analytics. He has published over 110 papers in leading biomedical informatics outlets including JAMIA, JBI, JMIR, npj Digital Medicine, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, AMIA, and MEDINFO. He received two Distinguished Paper Awards in AMIA 2015 and AMIA 2017. In 2022, he received Lois Lunin Award from the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS & T).
