About Zhe Quan

I am a bilingual professional in the financial services industry. A self-starter, I am passionate about getting to the bottom of answers and to continually refine, broaden both my technical and leadership acumen. Currently a Vice President in a Finance Product Control role, I manage a team that covers market and financial risks in the Commodities and Structured Finance business areas. Previously, I worked in the Private Wealth Management operations for several years, with leadership roles in Performance Measurement and Portfolio Accounting teams. Before that, I studied at New York University majoring in Economics and minoring in Business studies. It was during this period, along with various internship experiences that fostered my interest in the financial services sector and boldened my conviction to start my career there. Outside of work, my favorite hobby is chess, where I achieved the lifetime title of International Master. Additionally, I have coached several students who went on to represent their nations in international competition as well as authoring chess literature.
