About Zhen Chan

Pediatrician by day, community architect by. also day. As the founder of Grapevyne, I'm on a mission to help physicians break out of their silos and build meaningful connections that boost careers and wellbeing. After spending years perfecting the art of convincing toddlers I can see their brains through their ears and talking parents down ledges of fear or through difficult news, I'm now also applying those same communication skills to convince doctors that community and networking essential for a successful career. My journey through quality improvement and advocacy during residency, which leveraged both my healthcare-focused MBA skills and my clinical knowledge, revealed a path to impact healthcare at scale beyond the exam room. However, patient care remains a strong passion of mine and I never want to forget that the downstream "impact" of any healthcare change is on the people we’re delivering care to.
