About Zhen Wei Ooi

Zhen has formal qualifications in Chemical Engineering and expertise in the oil and gas downstream industry through the provision of sales and technical support to refinery specifically in process monitoring and data analysis to reduce downtime, optimise operation and profits. Zhen is a strong analytical professional and an avid user of analysis tools (SeeQ, JMP). Since joining AMCL, Zhen has consulted in the areas of Capital Investment Prioritisation, Asset Health and Criticality, Asset Improvement Planning Diagnostics, and Risk Management for a leading utility company. She was also the assistant assessor for ISO 55001 Surveillance Audit and conducted gap and maturity assessment of the electricity network safety management system (ENSMS) against the requirements of AS5577 in the utility industry. Zhen has recently earned her IAM Certificate to certify her understanding and competency in Asset Management. She is seeking to leverage her experience and skills to help organisations improve and implement sensible practices that allow them to function more effectively. Zhen has been a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and has presented her research materials at several conferences. Zhen has demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills throughout her work experience on top of her ability to present to large audiences, proficiency in multilingual, combined with a customer-focused approach to business. Outside of work, Zhen enjoys making travel videos, diving, and baking to fix her sweet tooth.
