A versatile and detail-oriented team leader/player, creative and resourceful scientist/engineer with extensive microcopy development, marketing and application knowledge. • Three years in managerial role and twelve years of scientific training with proven track record of scientific publications, conference talks and awards. • A well respected leader and educator with 7 direct reports in an educational and research setting. • Computational biophysicist, and microscopist with expertise in Adaptive Optics, fluorescence, super-resolution and holographic microscopy, and computational modeling. In my current role as the Senior Biosystems Application Manager for the North Western region of the US at Nikon Instruments Inc, I am responsible for the training of core microscopy, imaging and confocal products and applications. I am the primary source for advanced training, application support and knowledge for Nikon representatives in my region. I provide expert feedback to product teams for future product development. Furthermore, I contribute to boosting the level of all Advanced BioSystems Application core team members on Imaging and Confocal applications. As part of this role I work with researchers at universities, hospitals, Biotech companies and other related biomedical institutions and facilities.
