About Zihui Chen

As a data analyst at University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, I collaborate with the management team to perform data analysis and present findings through clear and concise data visualizations. I also lead a team of undergraduate interns in making informed decisions regarding the approval or decline of jobs and employers on Handshake, a career services platform. One of my notable achievements is the Handshake Import List Generator, a web application that I independently developed using Python (Pandas) and Flask. This project increased the efficiency of the import list generation process by over 95%, significantly reducing the time and resources required. It also improved the user experience and reduced the error rates by 99%, thanks to the user research and interface design that I conducted. I am passionate about working with data to uncover precise and honest information, and to generate insightful reports that support data-driven decisions. I have a Master's degree in Computer Science at University of Southern California, where I continue to hone my skills in Python, SQL, Tableau, and web app development. I am excited to connect with fellow professionals who share my enthusiasm for data and its potential for meaningful impact.
