Background
About Zipporah Peddle
With 20+ years as a professional singer and teacher, including 6 years with Cirque du Soleil, Zipporah continues to funnel her passion for pop, rock, and musical theatre into teaching her students how to become fully realized artists who connect with their audiences. She continues to expand her understanding of the current landscape for singers through continuing education and engagement with professional organizations such as NATS, the Voice Foundation, PAVA, and MTNA. Zipporah is on the Theater and Dance faculty at Missouri State University, where she has created and teaches courses based in musical theater and CCM style, pedagogy, and performance practice. She is regularly invited to speak and give workshops, and this July will be presenting her research on Broadway, national tour, and Cirque du Soleil singers at the National Association of Teachers of Singing symposium in Knoxville, TN.
