About Ziyan Wang

I received my MBA degree of Enterprise Risk Management, and BS degree of Accounting from St John’s University. I have studied various finance courses such as Accounting Information Systems, Advanced Accounting, Principles of ERM, Principles of Auditing, and IT Auditing, all with heavy emphasis on business which sparked my interest in learning more about the field. During my MBA, I successfully constructed a Full Risk Portfolio and Financial Forecast for Estee Lauder, a well-known skincare company, and presented my findings to their CFO. Additionally, I developed a marketing strategy report as a project including information such as financial planning, financial analysis and forecasting for Google Inc. I am currently pursuing a CPA. In my recent experience with KPMG LLC during tax season, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with a variety of accounting specialties such as reviewing individual tax returns with attention to taxation compliance and assisting the Senior Tax Manager to find and resolve any type of issues associated with clients’ tax returns and extensions. You will find me to be a versatile employee that is comfortable managing all types of budget conducting and bookkeeping services. In addition to my accounting/tax background and organizational skills, my ability to work with a wide range of professionals has always been an invaluable resource to my employers.
