About Zoe Glover

I am a junior at NC State with a passion for sustainability, travel, and learning. Whether I am learning a new language, sport, or musical instrument, I value the growth and challenges that come with each endeavor. Traveling around the world through alternative service breaks and study abroad programs has been one of the most fulfilling experiences I’ve had during my time at NC State. I’ve learned the importance of being open-minded, collaborative, and adaptable, while being able to meet some incredible people. To preserve the landscapes and cities that offer so much history and beauty, I try my best to learn as much as possible about sustainable practices. I have begun doing this through undergraduate research and participation in clubs such as Solar Pack, where we are building a solar-powered car. Seeing that achieving a sustainable future begins with education, I also enjoy volunteering my time at STEM education events. Examples include the Goodnight Scholars Program’s LEGO Brick Build and after-school programming as a STEM coach. Ultimately, I would like to use my degree to work on creating a more sustainable and educated future.
