About Zoe Oliver

Dr. Zoë Oliver has been practicing Emergency Medicine since 2004. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario and residency training in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine in Ottawa and Winnipeg. Her academic interests include medical education, medical writing, and trauma (all types). Dr. Oliver's writing has been featured in the National Post, the Globe and Mail, the Calgary Herald, the Montreal Gazette and others. Dr. Oliver also edits manuscripts for medical professionals. Her background in clinical Emergency Medicine, as well as her strong foundational skills in evidence-based medicine, make her uniquely poised to provide feedback on both the content and wording of manuscripts. She has particular expertise in GRADE guidelines and has worked with organizations such as the Neurocritical Care Society, the American Health Information Management Association, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Additionally, she enjoys working with authors from around the world and welcomes enquiries from those with English as an Additional Language who are hoping to publish in medical journals.
