Background

About Zoe Preece

I am currently working as a Reliablity Manager for Dow Performance Silicones. I work closely with operations and maintenance functions to develop equipment reliability strategies to improve the reliability of our assets. I also lead RCI's to identify areas for improvement and develop business cases to gain funding for reliablity improvement projects. In my previous role as a senior production engineer, I was required to work closely with other disciplines to maintain the smooth running of the process. I have been involved in projects which have cut the time taken to clean out a key reactor by half, optimised the performance of waste processing reactor by performing trials to change feed composition, and improved the reliability of that process, and therefore the reduced the size of the waste stream significantly. I am a key team member, and have been idenitified as an influential leader in leading the implementation of new safety standards.
