About Zoe Starry

Hello, my name is Zoe and I am a senior at Emory University. I am currently majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, and have decided to continue my passion for this field through research. I had the privilege of being a Research assistant this past summer in the Emory University Hormones and Behavior Lab. I was then able to continue my passion for research and focus on a project that relays the connection between mental health and Black Trans woman. I have had job experience in food service and management for around 3 years with most of my experience being at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I have continued with that experience and currently work at the YARD- milkshake bar. My passion for customer service has allowed me to connect with individuals from many different backgrounds and has granted me an open perspective. I have also been able to tutor many children since 2016 in different subjects, and have had the privilege of being able to continue my tutoring with different companies and volunteer organizations.
