About Zoltan Nemeth
In the beginning of my career I started to work in a contract manufacturing company, called Solectron as a test engineer (hardware testing). I was responsible to maintain FCT test equipment (functional test of the manufactured PCB boards of set top boxes, dvd players, tuner parts) and also for writing work instructions for the operators and train them. Then I joined GE as a software tester. In this position I was responsible of functional testing (manual test) of radiotherapy (Advantage Sim) and several other oncology applications. Later I became a verification lead of these radiotherapy applications, leading 4-6 verification engineer. In this role I was also responsible for the planning of the verification cycles and reporting the results for the management. After that I joined our platform team as a senior verification engineer. Here my task was to develop manual and automated tests for our linux based platform software. I am familiar both with waterfall and agile software development methodology.
