About Zsofia Erdos

From food science labs to business owner to leading teams in tertiary education – my career might look eclectic, but there’s a clear thread: I love helping people and organisations reach their potential. Started with a Food Science & Nutrition degree (honours), which led me into gym management, then building my own fitness consultancy. For five years, I did it all – budgets, marketing, stakeholder engagement – and grew a substantial client base. The real win? Training other fitness professionals to become successful entrepreneurs themselves. That experience sparked my fascination with human psychology, leading to my next degree. But while I loved understanding what makes people tick, I discovered my superpower isn’t one-on-one work – it’s strategic team leadership. Now in tertiary education, I combine that business acumen with psychology insights to build high-performing teams and translate complex policies into practical solutions. Five countries (Hungary, France, Seychelles, UK, Australia), three languages (English, French, Hungarian), and countless “what if we tried this?” moments later, I’ve learned to adapt quickly and think strategically about complex challenges. Currently exploring opportunities in leadership and policy implementation where I can put my strategic thinking and team-building experience to work on meaningful challenges.
