Zul-Kar-Nain—Mr. Discipline The Trailblazing Young Finance Professional Professional Background: Zul-kar-nain, also known as Mr. Discipline, is an emerging finance and accounting expert. Currently, he works as a Finance Officer at ZEN PETROLEUM, a rapidly growing and wholly Ghanaian-owned Oil Marketing Company in the petroleum downstream sector. As an ACCA finalist, Zul-kar-nain previously excelled as a Market Support Executive at ACCA's local office in Ghana, where his outstanding performance earned him multiple awards. Entrepreneurial Ventures: Mr. Discipline is the founder of "Discipline and Associates (D&A)," a social group comprising young, passionate first-generation graduates and professionals from the University of Ghana. The group is renowned for its mentorship and academic support initiatives, aimed at empowering the next generation of industry leaders with the necessary skills, qualifications, and values to meet future demands. Leadership and Community Engagement: Zul-kar-nain's leadership journey began early, serving as a class representative throughout his basic and high school years. He also held the position of President of the Accounting Students Association at the University of Ghana Business School, where he earned a degree in accounting. As an alumnus of the Aspire Leaders Programme, founded by esteemed professors at Harvard University, he continues to demonstrate his commitment to leadership and community development. Personal Journey and Values: Born into a humble background, Zul-kar-nain faced numerous challenges growing up. Despite these obstacles, he emerged as the only child out of his father's fifteen children to earn a degree. His success is attributed to his resilience, the mercies of God, and the support of good-hearted individuals who helped him through tough times.
