About Zynab Mohsin

I am deeply committed to improving mental health support for children and young people, with a particular focus on those from marginalised communities. My work is centered on addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals navigating cultural identity, neurodivergence, and other barriers to mental health care. My passion for mental health stems from personal experiences that have shaped my understanding of the importance of accessible and inclusive support. These experiences drive my commitment to advocating for culturally sensitive and equitable mental health services that empower young people to thrive. With a background as a teacher and a master’s degree in Psychology, I have developed an understanding of the challenges faced by children in educational and social settings. Currently, I am training as an Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) with NHS West London, where I am applying evidence-based practices to support children and families within school communities. I am always open to opportunities to collaborate, contribute to research, or engage in initiatives that align with my commitment to supporting children’s mental health.
