Our crude oil pipeline system includes 3 pipelines: The first one is a 42,254km line, connecting the Port of Eilat to the one in Ashkelon. 2 others supply oil to the oil refineries in Haifa and Ashdod. Since 2003, following the “Reverse Flow Project”, it is possible to transport crude oil through line 42" in both directions, which increases the volume of operational storage and enables the transfer from the Mediterranean Sea to Eilat, and from there to markets in Asia. As a forward-thinking company, we embrace innovation and technological advancements to optimize our operations and improve efficiency. Our current national project is to roll out dark fiber optics between the company’s ports in Ashkelon and Eilat, along the straight 245km route between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. EMTV's signal is sent out from Port Moresby encrypted, then received at a number of regional sites and re-transmitted to the surrounding area.
