In the beginning 6 domaines were imported regularly and now the Burgundy portfolio has 24 domaines. Excluding Burgundy the rest of the portfolio is driven by the same philosophy of establishing direct, personal relationships with great domaines in various fine wine regions in Europe and importing their wines every year. The thinking since Great Domaines’ inception has been to focus on giving wine-lovers in South Africa the opportunity to buy and drink fine wine from some of the most revered domaines in Europe and provide a window into what makes these people and their wines so special. Our wines are all stored in a temperature-controlled cellar at 10° C.
