2ndStage buys and invests in small, established businesses that help people as they age to stay comfortable, confident and supported in their own homes. Our role is to bring these businesses together, modernise where needed, and create a more seamless experience for families who are currently navigating a fragmented and outdated system. Our offering spans four areas: Comfort and Safety Mobility Emergency and Security Assistance/ help at home At the centre sits a trusted service brand that helps customers understand what they need, when they need it, and where to find it without having to piece things together alone. In October 2025, as a first move, we acquired Chiltern Care Chairs, a Buckinghamshire-based business focused on the first of those areas. We are currently in talks with a bathroom refit company and in 2026 we will build out our mobility offering. Our acquisition model is flexible and depends on the maturity of the business and the life stage of the owners. Our first acquisition was 100% buyout. Our second will be an initial minority investment leading to a staged buy out. The deal structure is less important than the group offering we are aiming to build.
