911programs
911Programs began in 1991 as New England Academy of Prehospital Medicine, a non-profit corporation created to educate the public in CPR and to provide basic EMT courses in southern Rhode Island. NEAPM was dissolved and reformed into New England Medical Resources to provide both basic and advanced EMS courses. The EMS education climate changed significanlty in 2002 and NEMR was closed. The company was re-structured and opened under the name 911Programs to provide not only EMS courses but also allied health education with an eventual plan to expand into other vocational areas. Currently, 911Programs is the fastest growing career technical school in Rhode Island.
