A Quiet Word

A Quiet Word is a performing arts company with a particular interest in creating projects in non-traditional spaces and in collaborating with people where they live and work. We are an association of artists with a range of skills and interests in contemporary performance including designers, sound artists and makers. The company is based in Leeds and we work anywhere to respond to an invitation to be in residence, or in response to a site we find interesting. Examples include libraries, shopping centres and stately homes. We fundraise for the work and current support is from a range of private trusts, local authorities and Arts Council England.
