Royal Academy Of Dance
The RAD is one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organisations. With its global headquarters in London, the RAD works locally and around the world to bring dance to diverse communities, widen access to dance and share the benefits and wellbeing that dance brings. With a strong global membership presence in over 85 countries, each year around dancers learn the RAD syllabus and take exams. Over students are enrolled in in-person and distance-learning dance teacher training programmes. Southbank Centre
The Southbank Centre is the UK’s largest arts centre and the heart of London’s cultural life. We want to take people out of the everyday, every day. The Old Vic
The Old Vic under Artistic Director Matthew Warchus is a place that encourages a new love of theatre, as well as offering a refreshing experience to those who keep coming back for more. It is a theatre steeped in tradition yet still innovating and making history today through a huge variety of output on and off stage which grabs the imagination of the broadest range of people. The Old Vic programme encompasses invigorating new writing; works that engage with a wide social conversation; nurturing new musicals, mounting passionate revivals and famous old plays; experimentation with quirky, eye-opening and challenging pieces; and family shows and pantomimes. In addition, we work with over people each year of all ages and backgrounds to unlock creative intelligence through school projects, employability schemes and community engagement. All of this is achieved whilst operating as a not-for-profit organisation without a regular subsidy, in an almost 200 year old building with a touch of magic about it.

The Pauline Quirke Academy Of Performing Arts
The Pauline Quirke Academy is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. The PQA model has been put together by people who work professionally in the performing arts industry and education sector. It means our classes deliver high educational value combined with realistic industry practice and our students get the best possible experience.

Dance City
Dance City is a vibrant and friendly place where people come together to take part, enjoy, experience and talk about dance; where professional and aspiring dancers meet, learn and train; somewhere to watch world class dance performances and somewhere for all to come along and get involved in dance. People come to Dance City to socialise, learn new skills, keep fit and active, train professionally and find out more about dance. This all takes place under one roof, in our purpose-built dance-house, in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. Established for over 20 years Dance City is the North East’s leading development organisation for dance, which exists to lead and support a thriving dance ecology in the region. We present a regular programme of dance performances from contemporary to ballet, world to breakdance bringing leading North East, British and International dance to Newcastle. We also commission original new works, which premiere in our theatre. We offer over 65 weekly classes in more than 40 different styles of dance – open to all ages and for absolute beginners as well as more experienced dancers. From contemporary to hip hop, ballet to ballroom, belly dancing to pilates, from bumps to babies and for adults with learning disabilities – our classes are an excellent way to stay fit and healthy, learn new skills, have fun and meet new people. We also offer formal dance training for talented young people aged 11 through to postgraduate level and we support professional dance artists and choreographers. Dance City receives funding from Newcastle City Council and is an Arts Council England, National Portfolio funded organisation.

Derby Theatre
Derby Theatre has a long and rich history of delivering high quality drama to audiences. Previously Derby Playhouse, Derby Theatre, which sits at the heart of the city, is now owned and run by the University of Derby. The Theatre is rooted in the local community but international in its outlook. We produce and present high quality performances working with the best local, regional and national talent. In 2012, the theatre was awarded strategic funding by Arts Council England to develop a new model for regional theatre in the 21st Century. From 2013, under the new artistic directorship of Sarah Brigham, who works alongside General Manager, Gary Johnson, we are transforming from a traditional producing house to an organisation of training, mentorship and artistic excellence; we will be an exemplar, a new way of looking at the role and responsibility of theatre to its community. Our focus will ensure that each part of our process will be open to public learning opportunities. It will build the organisation's ability to take artistic risks by bringing creatives and audiences along on a creative path via the co-production of narratives.

Glyndebourne
Glyndebourne – situated on the edge of the South Downs National Park in East Sussex – is recognised internationally as one of the world’s leading opera houses; a reputation that stems from a passion for artistic excellence encapsulated in founder John Christie’s insistence on doing ‘not the best we can do but the best that can be done anywhere’. John and his opera singer wife, Audrey Mildmay, founded the Glyndebourne Festival in 1934. Glyndebourne’s annual summer Festival runs for 15 weeks from May to August presenting more than 70 world-class opera performances in a 1,250-seat opera house. Throughout its history, Glyndebourne has been a pioneer in reaching new audiences. Its expanded Autumn Season offers affordable access to exceptional opera and music while shining a spotlight on emerging talent. Subsidised Festival tickets are available for families, under-30s and under-40s. Glyndebourne also produces open days, art and archive exhibitions, member events and more. An award-winning Learning & Engagement programme is active year-round, staging new work and delivering projects to enhance the understanding and enjoyment of opera among a diverse and broad audience. Since its founding in 1934, Glyndebourne has remained financially independent. As a registered charity, the company’s work is funded by Box Office income, Members and supporters, with valued Arts Council England support for learning and engagement work.

National Youth Theatre
National Youth Theatre was established in 1956 as the first youth theatre in the world. Over the past 60 years it has nurtured the talent of hundreds of thousands of young people and continues to be recognised as a world-leading youth arts organisation. Northern Ballet
Northern Ballet is a powerhouse for inventive dance and winner of Best Company in the inaugural Taglioni European Ballet Awards in 2014, winner of The South Bank Sky Arts Dance Award 2016. Based in Leeds, Northern Ballet is one of the UK's best-loved companies and an important international cultural ambassador. We are renowned for creating inventive narrative ballets and for touring these throughout the UK and overseas reaching audiences who might otherwise not have access to world-class dance. Northern Ballet is based on Quarry Hill in central Leeds in a purpose-built six storey centre for dance which we share with Phoenix Dance Theatre. Our home won the 2011 National Lottery Award for Best Arts Project voted for by the public. It is home to the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre showing an exciting programme of live dance, music, and theatre. Northern Ballet offers exceptional facilities and flexible options for conferences, meetings, formal dinners, parties and performances for up to 270 people.
