In 1997 at the foot of the Acropolis Hill in the historic Thiseio neighborhood of classical Athens, Bobby Platakos created Abibayio with the vision of bringing unparalleled service and a fresh perspective to traditional Greek dining. Along wth his brother Panagiotis Platakos the two have embarked on a journey to provide exceptional experiences to their loyal local customers and visitors to Athens historic center alike. Abibayio has undergone continuos revamps to keep the ambiance fresh and cosmopolitan as such the restaurant has become a sought out stop for travelers as well as groups which choose to host their events here. Abibayio offers al fresco dining on a charming pedestrian walkway from spring to fall and a cozy indoor experience dining with traditional live music in the winter months.
