Active Voices

Active Voices' mission is to build a healthy and just society through advocacy, youth engagement and strategic interventions where the rights of women and girls are upheld, protected and promoted. We believe in innovations and utilising non-traditional approaches to bring about the desired change in the communities we work guided by the pathway of the sustainable development goals. Since inception, we have empowered women, girls and young people to protect themselves and have a say in their own lives. Active Voices works in four thematic areas – Gender-Based Violence (GBV); Education; Health and Wellbeing; and Women’s Participation in Socio-Economic and Political Space. We build sustainable partnerships and collaborate with several organizations to bring about positive change.
