What I've found is that most of us want to leave behind a lasting legacy. But I've also found that most successful, motivated people prioritize bringing home a paycheck over all else. They feel like toiling away until they've saved up enough money to retire is the pathway to building a lasting legacy. The problem with this approach is that these people also feel frustrated that there's never enough time, money, or energy after trading it all for a paycheck to actually build a true legacy. Many try to solve this problem by taking more vacations, buying a bigger house, more toys, or trying to earn more money. All this while time and opportunity slip away forever.
