About Agaji Global Unity Foundation (AGUF) is an impartial, neutral, and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. AGUF was established in 2008 but was incorporated in the year 2013 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). AGUF exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well. AGUF is a member of many networks in the country through their respective State chapters such as NANGO, CISHAN, State Planning Commission, AONN, CSACEFA, and a member of Child Protection Network [CPN] in the State. With staff strength of over 50 including volunteers, manning our Program & Community Mobilization, Finance & Admin and Monitoring & Evaluation units; an organization owned office property, functional offices in Adamawa State, AGUF is growing to become a leading local CSO actor In the last 5 years. AGUF has driven intervention in the development and humanitarian sectors; having successfully managed and still working on several UN agencies such as UN-OCHA, British Council/EU and other international donor agencies project valued at about 600 million using innovative strategies such as Community Mobilization, Peace Building, Advocacy, Capacity Building, Referrals and Linkages which has contributed immensely to successful project and program implementations to the donor’s satisfaction.
