Company History Albion Recruitment was born in 2010 after the founding partners, Martin Hucker and Lee Cox, found themselves consistently disappointed by the service offered by myriad run of the mill recruiting agencies who promised much but delivered little. Having experienced redundancy as a consequence of the economic downturn and after yet again being left in the dark as to the fate of another CV which seemed to disappear into the ether, the partners formed the view that there must be a better way to service the needs of candidates who deserved more respect and acknowledgement than they themselves had been afforded. Martin Hucker, the senior partner, has wide experience across a number of private and public sector management roles and business enterprises. His experiences of the recruitment sphere as an employer were similarly less than positive and he recognised that customer service and listening skills were sadly lacking in the market. Lee Cox, the younger partner, an experienced recruitment consultant specialising in permanent solutions, shares the core belief that providing a top quality service is the key to success in business. He has firsthand experience of recruitment environments where customer service comes as an afterthought and runs a poor second to sales targets.
