We are a pan-African technology company driving social and economic growth in Africa through connecting millions of Africans to affordable mobile devices and access to buy-now pay-later services, whilst promoting adoption of healthy lifestyles through our digital platforms. Algebra Tech is head quartered in South Africa. It was formed out of the rebrand of Astro Mobile in 2023 after the expansion of the business into the health & wellness and buy-now pay-later industries. Astro Mobile was founded in 2014 and focused on manufacturing and selling affordable mobile devices in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, and Malawi. We have now evolved into a fully-fledged technology company also offering buy-now pay-later services ("eshagi") and digital health and wellness solutions ("Pulse Active"). The mobile phone business is known as Astro Mobile.
