Throughout the history of Lebanon, EDUCATION has been a protected and flourishing asset in the country. Even during the long 20 years of war, Lebanese education has never been in danger of failing to meet the highest standards. Unfortunately, after recent events, this is no longer the case. At Rotary Club Beirut Cedars, we have created All 4 Edu, a crowdfunding campaign driven by donations as well as net proceeds from selling face masks designed and made in Lebanon. Our goal is to make sure every child in Lebanon has the right to education, while at the same time supporting the local economy. We have put in place a fully transparent platform to channel the donations as payment on behalf of parents unable to pay their children’s school tuition and to preserve the dignity of people who find themselves below the poverty line. An International auditor will report our Club's financials with regards to this campaign to ensure that all amounts collected have been distributed appropriately.
